Common Causes of Interlock Failure (and How We Fix Them)

If your interlock has failed, the cause is likely one of these:

  • Poor Base Prep: Too shallow, or not compacted properly.

  • Improper Drainage: Water pools and erodes the base.

  • Lack of Edge Restraints: Pavers shift and spread.

  • Cheap Joint Sand: Disintegrates with the first storm.

At Leveled Ground, we don’t just make it look better — we fix the failure underneath, so it stays solid through snow, rain, and wear.
